Training for SMEs working in apparel and fashion sectors in Armenia


Are you an export-ready small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) representative in the apparel or fashion industry in Armenia? As part of the of the ‘Building Sustainable Apparel and Agribusiness Value Chain in Armenia’ Project, funded by the European Union and implemented by the International Trade Centre (ITC), you have the opportunity to take part in a five-day training on sourcing of fabrics and yarns.

The training will take place in Yerevan in November 2024 (tentative dates are 4-8 November).

The five-day training programme, developed by leading experts in the textile industry, will provide fundamental knowledge on the identification and characteristics of various fibers, yarns, as well as woven and knitted fabrics.

The application is open to all SMEs operating in the apparel fashion sector of Armenia. Selection will be based on the exporting capacities and growth potential of SMEs to ensure a fair and thorough selection process.

The deadlne for application is 15 September.

The ‘Building Sustainable Apparel and Agribusiness Value Chains in Armenia’ project is funded by the European Union and implemented by the International Trade Center and in close coordination with the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia.
