Armenia: YEAs met with the EU and non-resident Ambassadors

On January 16, the Young European Ambassadors (YEAs) in Armenia took part in a networking event at the HayArt Center in Yerevan. The event brought together EU resident and non-resident ambassadors, governmental representatives, and other stakeholders to foster dialogue and strengthen collaboration. New EU-funded programme for veteran businesses: training and grants of up to €6,500

The EU-funded Veteran Business Support Programme in Ukraine has launched a new call for combatants, their families, and businesses that have employed veterans in Kyiv, Lviv or Vinnytsia.  Participants will receive three days of offline training in Kyiv, Lviv or Vinnytsia, mentoring from experienced entrepreneurs, psychological assistance in the form of group and individual support, and the opportunity to receive a grant of up to €6,500 to develop their own businesses. Ukraine: Young European Ambassadors organise ‘Your European Future’ summit in Lviv

On 9 May, Young European Ambassadors in Ukraine (YEAs) organised a youth summit ‘Your European Future’, held at the America House Lviv. A total of 78 active youth representatives participated in the summit dedicated to Europe Day. Ukrainians can keep their driving licence in the EU, say European Parliament

On 7 July, members of the European Parliament backed a proposal by the European Commission to allow Ukrainian refugees to retain their national driving licence. Ukrainians who fled Russia’s invasion and have temporary protected status will be able to continue using their Ukrainian driving licence without having to exchange it for an EU one or take a new driving test.  If a driving licence is stolen or lost, EU countries will be able to issue a new EU driving licence.
