Azerbaijan: YEAs took part in Euroschool 2025

From 12 to 14 August, Young European Ambassadors (YEAs) in Azerbaijan took part in EuroSchool 2025, organised by the EU Delegation to Azerbaijan in Basgal, Ismayilli.

The three-day educational event gathered Azerbaijani youth to explore the European Union’s values, history, and partnerships through expert-led workshops, youth-led discussions, and interactive dialogue. The programme strengthened participants’ understanding of the EU, promoted democratic values, sustainability, and critical thinking, and encouraged youth engagement in EU initiatives.

Results Achieved:

  • Enhanced understanding of EU history, values, and priorities.
  • Deepened awareness of EU–Azerbaijan relations and the Eastern Partnership.
  • Promoted youth participation in EU-funded opportunities such as education, volunteering, and mobility programmes.
  • Empowered participants to critically engage with information and participate in policy dialogue.
  • Increased visibility of the Young European Ambassadors initiative and its outreach efforts.

Target Audience:

18 motivated young people aged 18–25, proficient in English and interested in EU topics, international relations, energy, and politics.
