Georgia: YEAs held a Media Literacy workshop in Georgian-American High School

On 21 May, Young European Ambassadors (YEAs) in Georgia held an interactive workshop at the Georgian-American High School in Tbilisi to raise awareness about media literacy, disinformation, and artificial intelligence.

The session aimed to strengthen students’ critical thinking skills and introduce them to EU and Eastern Partnership opportunities. Through gamified activities, participants explored how easily false narratives can be created and spread online, encouraging a more conscious and analytical approach to media consumption.

Results Achieved:

• Increased awareness of the EU and its opportunities for young people.

• Improved ability to recognise AI-generated and manipulated content.

• Strengthened critical thinking and media analysis skills among students.

Target Audience:

9th grade students.
