Georgia: YEAs organised a workshop on Hate Speech and Inclusion in Zugdidi

On 22 July, Young European Ambassadors (YEAs) in Georgia, in cooperation with the Council of Europe Office in Georgia and the social enterprise MegoBar, organised a workshop in Zugdidi focusing on hate speech, discrimination, and strategies to identify and counter hateful narratives in everyday life.
The session promoted inclusive dialogue, emphasised the importance of respect and tolerance, and introduced participants to EU–Council of Europe cooperation in the youth field.
Results Achieved:
- Raised awareness about the impact of hate speech and discrimination.
- Disseminated information about EU–Council of Europe cooperation in the youth sector.
- Encouraged critical thinking and open dialogue among participants.
- Empowered local youth to identify community challenges and propose constructive solutions.

Young people aged 14–19 from Zugdidi.
