Georgia: YEAs organised workshop “Decode the Media – Fact, Opinion & Disinformation”

On 13 April, 2025, the Young European Ambassadors (YEAs) organised a workshop in Bolnisi to raise awareness about the digital influence of social media and media production. The session aimed to educate students on how to identify false information and strengthen their media literacy skills.

Results Achieved:

• Increased students’ awareness of the role of social media in shaping public opinion.

• Provided information on EU opportunities and the Eastern Partnership.

• Encouraged discussions on media literacy and fake news.

• Helped participants learn how to identify trustworthy sources and avoid misinformation.

Target Audience:

Youth from Ioane Bolneli Secondary School.
