Georgia: YEAs visit Vazisubani Elders’ House

On 28 June, Young European Ambassadors (YEAs) in Georgia visited the Vazisubani Elders’ House in Tbilisi to spend time with elderly residents, offer emotional support, and promote well-being and mental health.

The visit, inspired by EU–Georgia values of solidarity and care, featured quizzes, dancing, singing, and storytelling moments. Some personal memories were also recorded by the YEAs, creating a bridge between generations and strengthening the spirit of community and empathy.

Results Achieved:

  • Raised awareness about well-being and the importance of mental health.
  • Promoted the values of care and intergenerational solidarity through social media.

Elderly residents of the Vazisubani Elders’ House.
