Moldova: YEAs took part in “GoVote!” Photo Booth at State University of Moldova

In the lead-up to the parliamentary elections, Young European Ambassadors (YEAs) in Moldova installed a photo booth and a voting booth in front of the State University of Moldova to encourage students to participate in the upcoming elections on 28 September.

Students were invited to step into the booth, simulate the voting process, and take a printed photo as a keepsake. YEAs used the opportunity to remind them of the importance of voting, especially given the relevance of these elections for Moldova’s European integration path. The initiative promoted civic engagement and youth participation in democratic processes.

Results Achieved:

• Over 80 students participated, taking pictures and simulating the voting process.
  
• Raised awareness of the upcoming elections and the importance of youth participation.
  
• Encouraged civic engagement through creative and interactive outreach.
