Mariateresa is a student at the University of Bologna in Italy, where she’s specialising in International Studies, with a specific focus on the European Union and the Middle East. She is a passionate activist who constantly challenges herself and stands up for what she believes in. Over the past year, volunteering for Save the Children’s editorial team has taught her the realities of social transformation and the power networks hold to drive change. Through the Young European Ambassadors’ initiative, she is determined to advocate for minorities and promote a more inclusive future.
