Bridging Knowledge and Policy: Strengthening Armenian Think Tanks for Enhanced EU Engagement and Regional Cooperation

Project Description
This 24-month initiative aims to enhance evidence-based policymaking and empower Armenian think tanks to play a stronger role in deepening EU-Armenia relations. The project aligns with the goals of the Eastern Partnership (EaP) and fosters greater awareness of the European Neighbourhood Policy.

Key activities include:
• Producing four research-based analytical papers on EU-Armenia relations and regional developments, offering actionable recommendations.
• Hosting a major conference for policymakers and stakeholders.
• Organizing two dialogue meetings with think tanks and civil society, as well as a workshop on geopolitics and geo-economics featuring EU and Armenian officials.
• Coordinating a tailor-made three-day study visit to Brussels for enhanced knowledge exchange.
Through these efforts, the project seeks to foster regional cooperation and support Armenia's integration into EU frameworks, promoting a stronger, and more informed partnership.
Specific Objective
1. Enable production of high-quality research papers that provide in-depth analysis on topics of importance to the EU’s engagement in Armenia and
The South Caucasus.
2. Foster collaboration between Armenia and EU based think-tanks, local experts, policymakers, and EU representatives to support informed decision-making and policy development.
Expected Results
1. 4 research based analytical papers produced and disseminated. The production and dissemination of each analytical paper represents a separate output.
2. Organisation of 1 major conference (in Armenia)
3. Organisation of two dialogue meetings (in Armenia) – each dialogue meeting represents a separate output
4. Organisation of 1 workshop (in Armenia)
5. Organisation of 1 tailor-made study visit to Brussels
