Georgia Goes Green

Project Description
The Georgia Goes Green project, funded by the European Union and implemented by NTU International, supports Georgia’s transition towards a greener, more sustainable future. The project raises awareness on environmental protection and climate change, strengthens the visibility of EU support to green initiatives, and fosters broader participation in climate action and adoption of sustainable practices at local, national, and international levels.
Specific Objective
1. Increase awareness and action among citizens and businesses on environmental protection, climate change, and the green transition.
2. Strengthen visibility and awareness of EU support to environmental and climate initiatives in Georgia.
3. Broaden participation of civil society, private sector, especially, young people, women, minorities, and vulnerable communities in local, national and international environmental and climate dialogues.
Expected Results
1. Citizens, youth, women, vulnerable groups, and businesses are better informed and take practical steps towards greener living.
2. EU contributions to clean energy, sustainable transport, recycling, and climate initiatives are more visible to the public.
3. Civil society organisations, communities, and businesses, especially young people and minorities, actively engage in policy discussions on climate and the environment.
4. Creative campaigns, digital content, and events raise awareness and inspire everyday green actions.
5. Partnerships with journalists, influencers, schools, and EU networks amplify sustainability messages across Georgia.
